Research Description:

Role of gram-negative bacterial cell surface in antibiotic resistance mechanisms and virulence of Burkholderia multivorans in cystic fibrosis and chronic granulomatous disease pulmonary infections.

 

Instrument and Technique Specialties:

Bacterial cultivation and antimicrobial susceptibility testing, basic cell biochemistry, and optical, fluorescent, and luminescent spectroscopy.

 

Funding Sources:

Intramural and INBRE at present.
